All of us at some point in our lives may face a rough patch, when we are unable to overcome these struggles and overwhelming feelings are prolonged, is where counselling can be beneficial. I have personally experienced counselling and found it to be a place of where I could truly be myself as it was a safe environment to do so and this is what I aim to deliver to my clients.
Counselling is about self-exploration, gaining awareness and taking actions towards positive change. This is done by building a unique relationship where the focus is on you. Counselling is not about me giving you advice as you already get this from friends and family, but is about having a space where you can openly share issues and emotions in a non- judgemental environment.
